2024-2025 season COMMITMENT
This upcoming season marks our 30th year playing music together! Help us plan well by completing this member survey. As a reminder, the commitment expectation is that musicians will miss no more than 2 rehearsals per concert without prior discussion with the music director and section leader as appropriate. If this will be an issue for you, please reach out so we can discuss options. More information on musician commitment can be found on the Audition page of our website. FALL 2024 REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE DETAILS:
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, 7-9PM, at Calvin University Fine Arts Center room CF 135 (same as previous years)
September 3, 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22
October 29 rehearsal on stage (same time)
Concert is Saturday, November 2, 2024
2:00 PM in the Calvin University Fine Arts Center Auditorium, musician on stage call time is 1:00 PM

Ethiopia's Shadow in America by Florence Price (13:00)
Double Violin Concerto in d minor by J. S. Bach (14:00) featuring CCS soloists Sarah Griffioen and Katherine Jonker
Symphony No. 2 in C Minor (“Little Russian”) by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky
1. Andante sostenuto - Allegro vivo 11:00
2. Andantino marziale, quasi moderato 7:00
3. Scherzo. Allegro molto vivace 5:00
4. Finale. Moderato assai - Allegro vivo 10:00
